This band has been around for 20 years and their latest album contains everything you could possibly desire regarding this genre. You don't need me to wax poetically about them! Just know that they are the real deal in every way when it comes to metal. Need somewhere to start? Try their new album End of Disclosure; Abducted; or The Final Chapter. Hell, get them all, but if you had to start somewhere....you can start there.
